The Graduate Management Consulting Association (GMCA) is pleased to announce the MiniMBA Program. This 10-lecture program will provide graduate students and postdocs with:

A grounding in fundamental business concepts

The opportunity to learn from business experts

The chance to apply this new knowledge directly to business cases

Course format:

The lectures will be taught by industry professionals with diverse backgrounds. Classes will vary from lecture only to lecture followed by mini group exercise and presentation. The course will cover concepts from the popular “The Ten-Day MBA” book, by Steven Silbiger. This year, the curriculum of MiniMBA program will cover:

1. Consulting Skills & Case Analysis

2. Marketing and Market Entry

3. Quantitative Analysis

4. Accounting

5. Finance & Investment

6. Operations

7. Economics

8. Strategy

9. Business Applications with AI

10. How to Succeed in Case Competitions

At the end of the course, students will have the opportunity to participate in a case competition, which will be judged by a panel of consultants.
**Please note, this is a very popular offering and our waiting lists are usually full. If you cannot attend ALL of the lectures please consider taking the class the next time that it is offered**


The program will run on U of T St. George campus from February 4th till March 13th, twice a week at 6pm – 8 pm. . The case competition will be held on Friday March 22nd, 2019 with the scheduled case release (Friday, March 15th, 2019) and Coaches’ Corner (Monday, March 18th, 2019).

The course book “The Ten-Day MBA” by Silbiger may also be purchased separately (soft/hard copy, recommended reading).
