On November 17, H2i hosted the inaugural Pitch Perfect Africa Competition, celebrating and supporting entrepreneurs developing health-focused innovations.

Six outstanding finalists presented their startups in five-minute pitches to the judges and ventures across the continent. The teams, Job Atubigah from Auto Ease Wheelchair, Emmanuella Nketia from HealthKiosk, Mustafa Alsayed from Pana+Care, Emmanuel Samwel from Primetel Health, Franc Mussa Israel from Pro Plus, and Prudence Ibila from UzimaNexus, impressed judges with their passion, traction, and innovation.

Their work spans wheelchair and rehabilitation solutions, and digital health platforms improving access to affordable care – enhancing access to data, and connecting rural clinics, physicians and patients.

After difficult deliberation, our expert judges Cari Whyne, Mxolisi Nkutha, and Nayanashri Thalanki Anantha selected the winners:

Congratulations Primetel Health, Pro Plus, and UzimaNexus!

All finalists delivered strong, passionate pitches that energized the community. We congratulate the winners and look forward to seeing all teams scale their impact across Africa!

Pitch Perfect Africa Competition 2025 was run as part of the Africa Health Collaborative, in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation.
