Andris Lauris P.Eng., B.A.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto, has a passion for commercializing Canadian technology, having taken multiple start-ups to profitability, complemented by over 15 years of progressively responsible positions at IBM, including 2 profitable intrepreneurships. He has a track record of building businesses and platforms in innovative technology, hardware, software, services, and wireless solutions. Andris has led initiatives through a complete stage gate process from ideation to commercialization through concept, development and manufacturing phases. He has a history of defining industry opportunities, developing products and solutions with compelling value propositions and championing senior sales channel management, launching new technologies, building market share, and positioning companies to be a dominant force in the marketplace.
