Dr. Brian K. Courtney

Dr. Brian K. Courtney, MD, FRCPC, MSEE, is an interventional cardiologist and clinician scientist at the Schulich Heart Center, Sunnybrook Health Sciences Center. He is a scientist at Sunnybrook Research Institute and assistant professor in the Department of Medicine at University of Toronto. Founder and CEO of Conavi Medical (formerly Colibri Technologies) and currently in the role of Executive Chairman. He has been actively involved in the development of new medical technology for the past 15 years. Brian is the Program Director of the recently launched Sunnybrook Medventions Program, a physician-led, hospital-based training structure, that delivers a grassroots approach to nurturing the next generation of Canadian medtech entrepreneurs and industry professionals.
