Neuropeutics Earns Top Spot at Entrepreneurship World Cup
Congratulations to H2i venture Neuropeutics who delivered a winning pitch at the Entrepreneurship World Cup on August 10th, securing a spot as one of the Top 3 Canadian finalists and one of the Top 100 early-stage ventures globally!
The Entrepreneurship World Cup is a global competition that celebrates entrepreneurial talent and innovation across various sectors. It provides a platform for startups to showcase their groundbreaking ideas, network with industry leaders, and gain access to invaluable resources to accelerate their growth and success. As one of the Top 3 winners, Neuropeutics will head to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in November for the international competition and compete for the chance to win $1M during Biban 24.
Neuropeutics is dedicated to revolutionizing neurodegenerative diseases healthcare through their cutting-edge research. Being named a finalist is a testament to the team’s hard work, dedication, and relentless pursuit of excellence to improve the many lives affected by these debilitating diseases.
Of the win, Neuropeutics CEO and Co-Founder Marc Shenouda shared that: “Securing a spot as a national finalist is more than winning a pitch competition; it’s a testament to Neuropeutics’ team’s excellence in making significant advances in treating neurodegenerative diseases.”
The Entrepreneurship World Cup win is one of many recent achievements for the Neuropeutics team. Last week, the team scored third place at the Falling Walls Lab Toronto competition. The competition was hosted by Falling Walls Foundation, University of Toronto, Temerty Faculty of Medicine, Cell & Systems Biology, Lunenfeld-Tanenbaum Research Institute, Life Sciences Ontario. Twelve finalists had three minutes to showcase their breakthrough and its positive impact on science and society, with Neuropeutics ultimately taking home one of three top prizes.
Looking ahead, the Neuropuetics team will compete as a finalist for Innovation Factory’s Lion’s Lair in September, before heading to Saudi Arabia in November.
