The finalists will be showcasing their bold ideas as they pitch live at African Leadership University, Kigali Campus, on June 24 during the culminating event of FemSTEM Africa 2025.


Co-hosted by The African Leadership University and Health Innovation Hub (H2i), in partnership with Mastercard Foundation and Sustineri Attorneys PRUC – Corporate Lawyers & Consultants, this competition shines a spotlight on women-led ventures transforming healthcare across the continent.

Meet the Finalists:

Bare Mind is a healthtech startup reimagining how African communities engage with emotional health. We combine culturally rooted storytelling, digital tools, and wellness experiences to break stigma and make mental healthcare more accessible and relatable.

Kosmotive is a social enterprise improving menstrual, maternal, and reproductive health through affordable, eco-friendly products and digital education in Rwanda. Its flagship solutions, KosmoPads and KosmoHealth, empower women and girls with dignity, knowledge, and economic opportunity; thus promoting Feminine Freedom despite the Flow.

Neosave Technologies Limited is a medical technology company focused on improving neonatal care by combating hypothermia in newborns. Its flagship product, the Autothermo, is a wearable device that continuously monitors temperature, heart rate, and oxygen levels, sending real-time alerts to a central display dashboard with color-coded emojis. Emojis help nurses to  identify and respond to critical cases as fast as possible.

OneClick-Med enables secure, interoperable health data exchange, streamlining workflows, improving access, and outcome for underserved communities across Africa.
