Frank Shannon

Frank Shannon has spent three decades advancing health technologies through preclinical and clinical development, regulatory affairs, manufacturing, quality, health economics, market access, and medical affairs across pharma, biotech, and medtech. He is a passionate supporter of early-stage health tech companies as a coach, mentor, and investor. Frank most recently served as Senior Vice President, Clinical Development and Regulatory Affairs at Sernova Biotherapeutics, following similar roles at Ripple Therapeutics and Interface Biologics.  He previously led the regulatory affairs, quality assurance, and compliance functions at the Canadian affiliates of St. Jude Medical and Baxter Corporation, and held leadership positions in Medical Affairs and R&D at Occulogix, Genentech, Roche, and Boehringer Ingelheim, where he led the design, execution, analysis, and reporting of international clinical trials and outcomes research studies. He has led or supported numerous approved regulatory applications for drugs, devices, and combination products in jurisdictions across the globe.
