Meet the Speaker | Elizabeth Johnson

Elizabeth brings a rich tapestry of expertise and global insight to the forefront of health innovation. With a foundation as a trained lawyer she holds a Master’s in International Business and an MSc in Business and Data Analytics, illustrating her multifaceted approach to solving complex challenges at the intersection of law, business, and technology.

Currently serving as a business analyst, Elizabeth’s consultancy work spans the markets of South Africa and the United Kingdom, where she applies her analytical skills and strategic acumen to drive transformative innovative solutions in dynamic environments.

As the Founder of Medical Tourism Africa, Elizabeth has pioneered a path in the medical tourism industry, dedicating her efforts to crafting premium experiences for clients. Her work not only bridges continents but also encapsulates a commitment to excellence, ensuring clients receive the highest standard of care and service. Elizabeth’s unique blend of legal expertise, business strategy, and passion for health innovation positions her as a leading voice in the conversation on the future of healthcare. Her contributions are shaping new paradigms of access, quality, and experience in medical tourism, making her a luminary in the field and an inspiring figure for aspiring innovators.

Meet the Moderator | Amanda Dlamini

Amanda Dlamini is H2i’s International Program & Communications Coordinator, with 8 years of experience in communications, driven with a passion to empower entrepreneurs. Having successfully collaborated in projects back in South Africa which focused on diabetes awareness through an NGO, employing stakeholder engagement, events management and in the private sector with consumer goods, in communications and public relations. Dlamini emphasizes continuously innovating and agile communications as the key piece of any business’ ability to successfully engage with the target audience. She holds a Master of Management, Innovation & Entrepreneurship from Smith School of Business at Queen’s University.

Dlamini believes in fostering a life to be enjoyed with family and friends, and is always looking for adventure, be it in food, travel, or a new book.
