Mr Mark Morreale

Mark Morreale is the National Lead for SAS Canada’s Academic & Innovation Programs. Currently, Mark’s role is to facilitate partnerships with Academics, Industry, and Innovation Sectors. Before joining SAS, Mark trained as an Epidemiologist and worked in several Analytics positions for the Pharma Sector, Hospitals, Consulting and Government.

In 2019 Mark co-founded the Cortex Analytics Simulation Game www.sas.comcortex. Cortex is designed to gamify the teaching of Machine Learning for students of all types.

Mark is also a professor of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at McMaster University, where he lectures on Health Research Methodologies and Health Analytics.
