Congratulations to SilicoLabs, who has been awarded a 2024 Tech@RBC Momentum Grant!

In their inaugural year, Tech@RBC Momentum Grants are aimed to support early-stage tech startups through the provision of non-dilutive funding. SilicoLabs was one of four recipients selected from a competitive pool of ventures working in Enterprise SaaS, FinTech and IoT (Internet of Things). Each winner received the $25K Momentum Grant, access to mentorship and domain expertise through RBC Ventures, ONRamp membership, and a demo booth at this week’s True Blue Expo.

SilicoLabs has developed a no-code behavioural analytics platform for creating real-world simulations for humans and AI. The venture, co-founded and led by Kyla Alsbury-Nealy and Benjamin Alsbury-Nealy, has seen tremendous growth and success in recent years. You may remember them from winning Pitch Perfect 2022 or, just this week, presenting as a finalist at the 2024 Desjardins Startup Prize Competition. Later this month, the team will  compete as a finalist for the 2024 FemSTEM Pitch Competition!

Of the recent Tech@RBC Momentum Grant honour, Kyla shared,

“We are thrilled to share that SilicoLabs has been awarded the Tech@RBC Momentum Grant! These funds will help us in promoting our software to a wider audience. We are deeply grateful to RBC, RBCx, and U of T Entrepreneurship and the support of our accelerators/incubators, Health Innovation Hub, UTEST, Creative Destruction Lab, Mila Entrepreneurship Lab and MaRS Innovation Services!”

Congratulations, Team SilicoLabs! H2i looks forward to seeing your continued growth, and to seeing you pitch on March 26th at the 2024 FemSTEM Pitch Competition! (Click here to register now)
