Allan is currently Head of the Market Engagement Excellence (MEE) function at Johnson and Johnson Innovative Medicines. In his current role he is focused on digital transformation and reimagining how Johnson and Johnson Innovative Medicines engages with customers. Prior to his current role Allan was Head of Johnson & Johnson Innovation, JLABS in Canada. As head of JLABS in Canada Allan was responsible for sourcing innovative technology companies that could have a meaningful impact on Johnson and Johnson’s R&D activity across the pharmaceutical, medical device, consumer and health tech sectors.

Allan has worked in numerous functions at Janssen Canada including, business development, marketing and market access. Prior to joining Johnson and Johnson Allan worked in business development for start-up biotechnology and specialty pharmaceutical companies in Canada.

Allan received his Ph.D. in Neuropharmacology from Queen’s University at Kingston, Ontario and his MBA from McGill University in Finance and Strategy. Outside of work Allan enjoys golf and coaching his son’s baseball team.
