Andrew Cheung is an assistant professor in the Department of Medicine at McMaster University and an academic general internist at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton, where he currently serves in a number of clinical and educational leadership roles. He is very interested in the healthcare start-up landscape, having gained experience as an entrepreneur, venture investor and advisor. Prior to his current work, Andrew completed his MD at the University of Ottawa and his MBA at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, where he gained experience working with US healthcare providers and biopharmaceutical companies adapting to novel value-based care models.
