Bryan Knysh is a retired business professional with over 40-years of experience in industry, scientific and educational communities. His career experience spans from large corporations such as General Electric, to educational institutions including Stanford University, to small startups such as Visby Medical. Much of his career was spent in Silicon Valley, where he leveraged his biomedical engineering (U of T, 1987), electrical engineering (U of M, 1979) and business background to transform user needs and product ideas from concept to reality. His senior management experience covers a broad range of business functions including strategic planning, product management, marketing, business development, relationship management, product development and fundraising.

Highlights of his biomedical engineering experience includes cancer diagnostics and precision medicine research planning at Stanford University; research planning, product planning and fundraising for a biotech startup focused on infectious disease diagnostics, digital health, and telemedicine; and, rehabilitation engineering at the Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital. This combined with his electrical engineering experience in distributed computing, telecommunications and networking provides a strong foundation for large-scale, multinational applications.
