Dr. Sanch Gupta is a physician currently completing his Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine residency at the University of Toronto. He holds a B.Sc. in Anatomy and Entrepreneurship from McGill University, has completed a global fellowship in leadership and policy-making at the University of Cambridge, and finished medical school at the University of Toronto.
Sanch is the co-founder of MealCare, a nationwide social enterprise dedicated to reducing food waste and food insecurity. Through MealCare, he helps manage a team of over 200 members across 13 chapters in Canada, having provided over 100,000 meals to community organizations.
In addition to his work with MealCare, Sanch has co-founded a virtual reality start-up and has served as an analyst for health-tech venture capital firms in Canada and the United States. He has been recognized at the provincial, national, and international levels for his transformational leadership.
His ambition is to bridge the gap between clinical medicine and start-up entrepreneurship, leveraging his diverse experiences to drive innovation in healthcare.
