Jaime Wong

Jaime was the Co-founder and CEO of  MDBilling.ca, the largest medical billing software and service provider in Canada. He started the business in 2009 with no outside funding and was acquired by RBCx (Royal Bank of Canada) in 2022.  At MDBilling.ca, Jaime was responsible for the strategy and execution of the business, having grown to 60% market share in Ontario with over 9,000 active physician customers across Canada.

Before that, Jaime was a business development executive with more than 15 years of experience at IBM and various other technology companies.

Jaime holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Schulich School of Business, York University, and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto.  He is a patent holder for an Optical Character Recognition (OCR) process and also serves on not-for-profit boards.
