Dr. Nozhat Choudry is a senior executive with over 20 years of extensive pharmaceutical company in all aspects of clinical drug development.

With experience in managing projects from both a national and international perspective, she has spearheaded global product development by progressively leading international teams.

As the Medical Vice President she established a start up medical device company Occulogix in the field of ophthalmology and later she went on to be one of the founding members of Takeda Canada and grew the company from 5 to over 100 employees.

Prior to her present position she was the medical head of Intermune a biotech company that was the first company to launch a global product for a rare lung disease Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.

She currently works for a Japanese Ophthalmology company Santen, where she is a Senior Director Global Alliances & External Research in this position she helps drive, establish, and implement world class Partnering Capability both in academia and commercial ventures to support Santens externally focused R&D endeavours .
