Sophie is passionate about rethinking how we design, deliver and access healthcare services, and centering patient-informed and community-led models of care. She has worked within operations, communications, project coordination, and program development capacities in non-profits, healthcare, academic and start-up environments alike. In addition, Sophie has worked frontline roles, from intake and case coordination to peer support facilitation. Having been a part of the founding and leadership team of a mental health focused start-up, she has unique insight into the journey and challenges of taking ideas in healthcare innovation from conception to scale.

Sophie first joined H2i in August 2021 as Program Assistant, Operations for H2i and Manager, Special Projects for Ideation Clinic, and transitioned to her new role in September 2022. She holds a Bachelor’s in Sociology from McGill University, and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Public Health at University of Victoria.
