Every hour, approximately 14 Canadian adults diagnosed with heart disease lose their lives, underscoring a critical gap in our healthcare system’s focus on prevention. Current assessment methods often rely on intense physical activity, specialized equipment, or invasive procedures, making early detection challenging. AiVALON is dedicated to addressing this issue by developing a multi-sensory mobile application that utilizes a smartphone’s camera and built-in sensors to assess cardiovascular health through a guided breathing exercise. This innovative approach eliminates the need for wearables or strenuous physical activity, making heart health monitoring more accessible, effortless, and available anytime, anywhere.
