Beeta Biomed was founded in the Fall of 2022 as a McGill spin-off to commercialize a patented technology, QolorEX (SALIVERA), a minute-scale fully automated molecular diagnostic test, analogous to PCR (polymerase chain reaction) gold standard, for respiratory infectious diseases. As a B2B and B2G business, we generate revenue by selling to hospitals, clinics, airports, long-term care centers, prisons, etc. We maintain the accuracy of the gold standard test while reducing the detection time to 13 min from >180 min and cutting the operational cost by 75%.
